The Whittington Health JAG accredited Endoscopy Unit are looking for a Nurse Endoscopist. The Endoscopy Unit has 3 endoscopy rooms with a plan to increase to 4 and both stage 1 and stage 2 recovery areas for patients post procedure. In addition to GI endoscopy, bronchoscopy lists are also performed.

 

The postholder will provide a clinical role in a nurse led endoscopy service for patients who are undergoing assessment and investigation for gastrointestinal disease. You will be able to perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures and follow agreed protocols.

 

The postholder should be a positive self-starter who will lead the nurse endoscopy programme and provide senior training to future Trainee Nurse Endoscopists.
