Band 6 Diabetes Dietitian, 1.00 WTE
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the expanding Intermediate Diabetes Specialist Service at Whittington Health. This post is based across two London Boroughs of Haringey and Islington.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Dietitian with a keen interest in Diabetes to work alongside the existing Intermediate Diabetes Team which comprises of a lead Diabetes Nurse, 5 Diabetes Specialist Nurses and 2 Diabetes Specialist Dietitians. This team also benefits of regular consultant led supervision and is closely linked with the hospital diabetes team. This post will also have links with the community nutrition and dietetic team who provide dietetic services to patients in Islington, Camden and Haringey.
The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing a specialist community dietetic service to patients with diabetes in clinic setting and also delivering structured education / self-management programmes.
The post holder will be required to have post registration experience and sufficient post-graduate training, experience and knowledge in dietetic practice to enable them to deliver high standards of clinical care.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
