Women's Health Counsellor, Band 6.
Part-time: 11.25 hrs per wk.
We are seeking an experienced counsellor, accredited with British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), to run the Women's Health counselling service at Whittington Hospital. This service provides counselling to parents who have had a pregnancy loss. An important feature of the service is that counselling is also offered to parents during pregnancy subsequent to a previous pregnancy loss.
Working closely with and providing support to the maternity services, the successful candidate will have experience of working with bereavement and trauma and will also have some knowledge of infertility issues.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, flexible and a good communicator, working off-site for a busy hospital.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
