An opportunity has arisen to join the Outpatient's Team is looking to recruit a staff nurse to develop skills across outpatient speciality areas.  The service is dedicated to providing high quality care with with good support from consultants, nurse specialists and administration staff. 

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic staff nurse with excellent communication skills, to join our team.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in procedures, and day to day running of general and specialist outpatient areas and clinics. 

To provide support and reassurance to patients attending outpatient areas.  The successful applicant will be encouraged to further knowledge and skills in areas and supported in professional development .

RGN Nursing Qualification

Post reg course

Shows interest in post-reg updates/ courses within outpatient nursing

Relevant  Mentorship/Teaching Course

Good nursing skills. Knowledge of general nursing principles, policies and procedures.

Able to provide essential care for patients as directed

Knowledge of revalidation process

Demonstrates understanding of principles of Clinical Governance, e.g. Risk Management, audit & +quality/ Health & Safety

  • RGN Nursing Qualification
