  • The In-patient COPD NIV service , working in close collaboration with Respiratory Consultant lead.
  • The delivery of 24/7 respiratory physiotherapy with overnight on call service and partial 7-day shifts system for week-end provision

The post holder will also be expected to take an active role in progressing the enhanced recovery in medical and surgical admission programmes and, working closely with the band 7 Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will also ensure day-to-day cover of in-patient paediatric respiratory physiotherapy.

The service is managed by the Inpatient Therapy (OT/PT) Manager, supported by the Physiotherapy Clinical lead and, on a day to day basis you will work closely with the band 7 acute team OT.
