Lead Nuclear Medicine Radiology Consultant
Whittington Health Integrated Care Organisation is located in North London providing both community and hospital based healthcare to the residents of Haringey and Islington and is close to good transport links and renown for being a great place to work.
The Imaging department boasts a modern digital imaging system including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Nuclear medicine and DEXA services.
The Trust wishes to appoint a post of 8 PAs in Nuclear Medicine/Acute Radiology. Applications are invited for the post of Nuclear Medicine Consultant preferably with an interest in maintaining General Radiology at Whittington Health. Support for the Endocrine MDT is an essential part of the role. Applications for a job share or for part time commitment are welcome.
The successful applicant must be accredited in Diagnostic Radiology and must also be on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council (UK), and have undertaken the necessary sub-speciality training in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent.
The post can involve participation in the On-call rota (1/12 max) and general reporting rota which is supported by registrars. Flexibility around the mix and number of PAs will be considered according to the candidate’s clinical interest and skill set.
