12m FIXED TERM Chest/General Radiologist Position 

With a view to substantive appointment this RCR approved fixed term appointment is an opportunity to join Whittington Health at an exciting time of significant investment in Imaging.

Whittington Health Integrated Care Organisation is located in North London providing both community and hospital based healthcare to the residents of Haringey and Islington.

The Imaging department boasts a modern digital imaging system with an Imaging equipment refresh cycle completing June 2019 including CT , Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Tomographic Mammography, Nuclear medicine (SPECT), DEXA services and 128 slice CT for outpatients.  

We are seeking to recruit a Radiology Consultant with a subspecialty interest in chest to provide high quality Radiology support to our Integrated Care Organisation. 

 The post holder will be expected to perform general cross sectional reporting and acute Imaging services in addition to lung MDT and chest reporting. In addition training of registrars and advanced Practitioners will be an integral part of the job plan.

The post will involve participation in the On-call rota (1/10 max) and general reporting rota which is supported by registrars. Flexibility around the mix and number of PAs will be considered according to the candidate’s clinical interest and skill set.
