The MSK Out- Patient Physiotherapy Services are going through very exciting times, setting up a new Single Point of Access (SPoA) as part of an initiative known as the MSK Wellbeing Project .  The SPoA which was launched in January 2018, is piloting a new way of working aimed at reducing the pressures on the Acute Sector and at Getting it right the First time for patients. This is enabling us to expand our MSK outpatient service providing more job roles and development opportunities.

Post holder will act as a Site Team leader for a designated site (on a 12 month rotational basis) and be responsible for the operational day to day management of that site, including the overview of appointment availability and productivity on this site. Band 7 physiotherapists provide Clinical Leadership to the team on a on a daily basis, whilst contributing to the on-going training and development of staff within the MSK Service as required. The in-service training, appraisal and personal development programmes are well established for all staff and all departments provide a friendly working environment with supportive and experienced clinicians.

You will need to have a caring and mature attitude to work closely with patients and with staff in our department.
