Whittington Health NHS Trust is committed to meeting all targets within the Referral to Treatment (RTT) pathway. The RTT target requires the Trust to measure the total period waited by each patient and to manage each patient’s journey, from referral to treatment in a timely and efficient manner and we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced person to join the Trust’s 18 week Pathway Data Validation Team.

As part of our new onsite Validation Team and working closely with specialities across the Whittington Health Integrated Clinical Service Unit (ICSU), your primary role will be to ensure that the information held on our electronic systems, at patient level, is accurately entered, monitored and validated before being reported to the Department of Health and the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate an extensive knowledge of current NHS issues relating to the 18 weeks Programme, Waiting Lists, Patient Activity Data and the Trusts Access Policy.

You should enjoy analysing, identifying and rectifying data anomalies and discrepancies and be able to manage your own time around competing priorities, fluctuating workloads and conflicting demands.
