CAMDEN & ISLINGTON BAND 5 ROTATION SCHEME

 

 

We have a vacancy for either an experienced or newly qualified Occupational Therapist to join our established, mixed rotation working across the London boroughs of Camden and Islington.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals to develop their clinical skills and knowledge in a variety of settings (see below) working with experienced clinicians and within supportive work environments.

 

Rotations are available in the following areas:

Acute Physical*

Intermediate Care

Adult Mental Health

Neurology and MSK Complex Rehabilitation

Paediatrics

Learning Disability

 

*New staff to, the rotation are usually placed in the acute setting for the first 2 rotations unless the service gap arises elsewhere.

All staff are expected to complete 2 acute physical rotations as part of this mixed rotation.

 

Some rotations require staff to have completed their preceptorship before they can be considered to rotate to them. Also there is a 7 day working requirement across acute services in place and this may extend to other services in the future.

 

Band 5 training is provided and the group meet regularly for peer support.
