Operational Lead Diabetes Specialist Nurse

 

The Intermediate  Diabetes Specialist  Service of Whittington Health is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Diabetes Specialist Operational Nurse to join our busy and dynamic team working within Islington and Haringey.

 

Whittington Health is an innovative Integrated Care Organisation providing hospital and community services to 440,000 people living in Islington and Haringey. It has embraced quality as the overarching principle for the organisation. Our aim is to provide outstanding care.


This role is an exciting opportunity to provide high quality, evidence based diabetes care. You will be leading a multi-disciplinary team of Diabetes Nurses and Dietitians.

 

The service provides complex care to patients with diabetes within the community  setting. You will also be involved in delivering Type 2 Diabetes structured education.. We work closely with primary and other secondary care services to provide integrated care for our patients.
