Radiographer Band 6 (3 days per week term time only - 0.45WTE)

This is a unique opportunity for a part time (term time only) Radiographer who is passionate about Education in Radiology. 

The primary focus of the role is the support and education of the undergraduate Radiography trainees which is expected to delivered in the clinical environment.  A postgraduate qualification in Image Interpretation and/or education would be preferred (although is not essential). 

Our fully digital department has recently undergone a refresh and large scale equipment replacement programme this year which has seen installation of all new Samsung DR x-ray rooms, a new CT scanner, mammography unit and fluoroscopy machine. The Hospital site has 2 MRI scanners, 2 CT scanners, 7 digital x-ray rooms, a brand new SPECT CT scanner, DXA scanner, a fluoroscopy and interventional fluoroscopy suite sited in theatre as well as several US rooms. Over 200,000 exams will be performed this year. 

Archway is a vibrant area of North London with easy and fast access from all major stations via Archway tube station and bus routes as well as the Overground Gospel Oak to Barking Line.

 We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic part time radiographer to join our professional and friendly team. 

 Any appointee will be expected to contribute to idea generation and the promotion of collaborative working across professional groups and inter-departmentally.

Participation in an AfC compliant rota will be expected, the main working pattern will be 9-5pm 3 days Mon-Fri however one or two 8pm-8am night shifts may be expected as part of the working pattern.
