Imaging Department-Radiographic Assistant

Here at the Whittington Health Imaging department we are extremely proud of our Radiographic Assistant team. Staff here have a friendly and caring attitude which helps us to deliver the best possible patient care and experience.

We were seeking female candidates only as chaperoning and breast Imaging forms a large part of the role.

It is an exciting time to work at The Whittington with recent changes in management and team restructure as well as recent success in a bid to invest in the Imaging Workforce.

We are looking for an enthusiastic full time team member who can deal with a varied clinical and administrative work. You will be dealing with both clinical and non-clinical staff from across the trust as well as patients and their carers/relatives, and we aim to deliver a high standard of patient care.

To work on the Radiographic Assistant team you will need some experience of working in an health care environment. The successful candidate will be proactive, dynamic and meticulous in their work taking pride in what they do. There is an expectation to work flexibly as core opening hours extend 8am-8pm Monday to Saturday and therefore weekend working can form part of the working pattern.

It is essential that the successful candidate has good organisation and communications skills as well as competent IT skills. We work with two systems in Imaging, our Radiology system Sectra and the main electronic patient record system Medway.
