Whittington Health Audiology and Vestibular Medicine Service


AFC - Band 5

Full time substantive post, 37.5 hours per week


An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Band 5 Audiologists to join our friendly team to deliver a quality Adult assessment and rehabilitation care pathway. 

One post is based at Whittington hospital and other at St Anns Hospital, although there will be rotation across sites.

The successful applicant should be enthusiastic, flexible and above all a team player.

We are a ENT and Consultant led service, providing a comprehensive diagnostic and (re)habilitation service to neonates, children, and Adults in the boroughs of Haringey and Islington. We are also the tertiary centre for the Newborn hearing screening program for babies referred from Haringey and Enfield, and so have close links with the Teachers of the Deaf. As a service we provide auditory brainstem response (tone pips, cochlear microphonics), and Video-nystamography and tinnitus clinics/hearing therapy.

Whittington Health serves a culturally diverse population with many multi-ethnic, bilingual and multi-lingual speaking communities.  

We are committed to improving service delivery through active engagement with our stakeholders, which includes patients and their families.

Clinics are held at a number of locations across Islington and Haringey.

We also work closely with UCL to provide clinical placements for BSc students.

Future service needs may involve evening and Saturday working.
