An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Whittington Health Community Administration Team within the Physiotherapy service.

We are seeking motivated enthusiastic individuals to join our team. The post would be ideal for anyone wanting a new challenge and to develop their administrative skills. Applicants should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with IT skills and  be able to have the ability to organise, prioritise and demonstrate excellent time management.

This post holder will work as part of the Whittington Health Community Administrative Service across our service sites providing front desk reception and back office duties as needed by the service.

MAIN DUTIES

* Booking, cancellation and rebooking of appointments using RIO, Medway and other relevant patient data systems.   Booking interpreters and transport for patients, photocopying, uploading, scanning as per the demands of the service also the Management of incoming and outgoing mail.

* Receive incoming telephone calls from patients regarding appointments and rescheduling requests also from carers, GP’s, staff, other Health Care professionals and external organisations.

This post offers you the opportunity for you to become part of a service that is evolving with the ever changing population needs. Our service sites are situated in North London and delivers health care to the residents of Haringey and Islington; both in the community and through the Whittington Hospital.

The department provides a friendly working environment with supportive and experienced Team leads.

The service operates Monday to Friday 8-6 and there will be a requirement to work within these extended hours.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
