Health visitors in Islington deliver the Healthy Child Programme from parent's homes, Children's Centres and Health Centres. We work closely with our key care partners to provide an integrated service to all families in Islington. 

We are looking for newly qualified and experienced health visitors to join our Bright Start Islington teams.

We provide  a robust induction programme and a comprehensive preceptorship framework programme to support newly qualified staff. We provide regular management and clinical supervision. We also offer regular Perinatal consultations , Safeguarding supervision, Clinical Professional Development forums and Integrated meetings.  

You will be supported by a Team Leader who works closely with you in a small team . You will also have clinical specialist guidance from the Infant feeding and Relationship Team who are there to support your practice. This team consists of support from Infant Feeding, Perinatal Mental Health and Antenatal Clinical Specialist HVs. We are very proud that we have achieved Baby Friendly Status in Bright Start Islington and if successful you would have the experience of working in a service which delivers care at this high standard.
