Whittington Health has a an exciting opportunity for Team Leader. If you are an experienced Health Visitor we would really like to hear from you.

Would you like to manage a Health Visiting Team  working in integrated way with Early Years partners? Bright Start Islington is our integrated service for under 5's and their families. Bright Start staff are working together towards improving outcomes for all children and families within the borough. We work in co located sites which are in Health Centres and Children's Centres. we also work in nurseries and community centres across Islington. We work in small teams which enables us to know the families well which our health visiting teams are very proud of.

 We offer a wide range of ‘in-house’ and other training opportunities for professional development through our learning and development department as well as clinical supervision and management courses to support your leadership skills.

You will gain experience working with Child Protection and will have regular supervision of these cases. You will need to be proactive, able to identify and respond to health needs and react to unpredictable events.
