 Band 7 Diabetes Specialist Nurse, Haringey and Islington. (Fixed Term Contract)

The Intermediate Diabetes Specialist Service of Whittington Health is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join our busy and dynamic community team.

Whittington Health is an innovative Integrated Care Organisation providing hospital and community services to 440,000 people living in Islington and Haringey. It has embraced quality as the overarching principle for the organisation. Our aim is to provide outstanding care.

This role is an exciting opportunity to provide high quality, evidence based diabetes care in the community. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of Diabetes Nurses, Dietitians and Consultants.

The service provides complex care to patients with diabetes within the community – in clinic and home settings. You will also be involved in delivering structured education programmes to patients as well as healthcare professionals. We work closely with primary and secondary care to provide integrated care for our patients.
