Healthcare Assistant Post on Day Treatment Centre
The Whittington’s Day Treatment Centre is based on Level 3 and is 39 bedded unit for admissions and discharge of day surgery patients undergoing a range of specialities such as: ophthalmic, orthopaedic, general surgery, breast surgery, bariatrics, colorectal surgery gynaecology , endoscopy and urology.
We are currently seeking a well –motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our vibrant and friendly team. The Day Treatment Centre is open from Monday to Friday (0700am – 2000pm) and the expectation is to work on early and late shifts and contracted for 37.5 hours per week.
Experience is essential for the post and has worked as a healthcare assitant in a hospital setting. In-house training will be provided. Duties will include: admissions, ECGs, undertaking observation and vital signs, urinalysis, phlebotomy and caring for patient undergoing various surgical procedures.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
